Concept Shots
Sometimes you need a photograph that's a lot more than just
a portrait. Sometimes getting a magnificent photograph
is worth great effort and planning.
Maybe the shot needs fifteen women dressed as purple fairies to be suspended from the ceiling. Maybe it needs thousands of brightly colored flower petals and high powered fans. Whatever it is, I can make it happen. Shoots like this are a big part of what keeps life exciting for me.
Concept shots typically require spending several days of brain storming to come up with a host of great ideas for a shoot. Of course in a pinch timelines can be tightened.
The magazine covers and album covers that become part of
history are born from this type of energy, creativity, and dedication.
The point of a concept photograph may be to show an actor, performer, or band in just the way they want the world to view them. Sometimes the result is elaborate, sometimes simple, but always intriguing and memorable.
